Funny how subconciously we throw around this word without ever figuring out what it means TO US. My entire ethics class in freshman yr was based on the assumption that one end all humans seek is happiness. Three yrs later, I have two points to add: (1) what is happiness? (2) if it is an undeniable end all humans seek, why do so few achieve it? more later!

Brian Schweitzer's Democratic Convention Speech

This has to be one of the better speeches at the Dem. convention so far. I have not seen most of them so I cannot tell if this is the best. But it's certainly the best of the ones that I had a chance to watch.

It's a textbook example of keeping the audience engaged and proactive.
